Michael von Hirschfeld
Pre-Recruiting pioneer. Creator of the HIHB method.
Michael von Hirschfeld turned the phase before the search for candidates into a discipline of its own and gave it the name Pre-Recruiting. Since founding HireWorks in 2017, he has accompanied more than 200 key positions, working with management teams, executive boards and hiring managers in the mid-market and in tech scale-ups.
Out of this work grew the HIHB method, the High-Impact Hiring Blueprint. It puts Pre-Recruiting into practice and turns thinking a role through into a step with a beginning, an end and a result. The tool behind it is called 5C and structures the briefing in two hours.
What I stand for
I am convinced that recruiting does not fail at the search, but at what was not clarified before the search. Whoever designs the role first and then searches saves the expensive correction afterwards. This order was always right. Only a name was missing.
